Recently the lodge building has been quiet with only 1 stated meeting in 5 weeks and no specials. Here are some upcoming dates to keep us occupied:
Saturday, May 5th, Breakfast 8-10am
Sunday, May 6th, 14th District Awards, Grand Lodge building, 2pm
Sunday, May 6th, VA Hospital Visitation, 1-3:
Saturday, May 19th, Warden’s Meeting, 9am @ Groveport
Saturday & Sunday, May 19th & 20th, Ohio CCW Class
Going into March and continuing until last weekend had been a very busy time for this lodge. Many of us had long days and/or nights with degree work, dinners, business, memory work, cleaning and the list goes on. Thank you to everyone who made any part of this past month a little easier.
The best news is that during all of this, we had the pleasure of welcoming 6 Brothers into our fraternity. We hope to see them back soon. There are still 2 petitions out, so that number may increase even more in near future.
No specials were called at tonight’s stated meeting (4/2/12), and it’s hard to remember the last time that happened. So, that is a VERY good problem for a lodge to have! Brothers, if you have not been here in awhile, this is a great time to consider visiting. Grove City Lodge is alive and well! You are guaranteed to see some new faces along with the “old faithfuls” who will make you feel welcome.

First lets congratulate Grove City’s newest Brother and wish him well in our fraternity.
And of course thanks to all the Brothers who came out for our Annual Inspection in the EA degree. We appreciate your support and hope that we made good use of your time. Thank you as well for all the positive feedback. In fact we’ve already decided to do it again next year! (insert laugh here)
Although there is always room for improvement, we believe we had a very good Inspection and we are proud of everyone involved. As always, many thanks to Grove City’s Past Masters! We are lucky to have so many PM’s that are still involved and always there to help out.
